Harrison Will Sit Out 4 Games, Suspended by League Friday, May 5th, 2017 Shortly after yesterday's Bulldogs-Hellcats game ended, Larry Harrison's on-field tantrum seemed almost comical. In response to being ejected for questioning a called third strike, the Spokane right fielder tossed his hat to the dirt and kicked it repeatedly. He couldn't help but laugh at himself and his over-the-top, hat-kicking, anger-laced tirade. "It was funny," Harrison said. "I was hoping I could kick it all the way to the dugout." The umpiring crew, however, didn't find it funny and neither did the league. Though Harrison said he did not think his actions warranted a suspension, he will miss 4 games. This season Harrison has hit at a .000 clip with 0 RBIs, 0 home runs and 2 runs scored. |
