Ruíz Takes FFL #1 Pitcher Trophy Monday, May 1st, 2017 Over the past month Carlos Ruíz has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Ford Frick League. He proved all that and now he's been named April's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Phoenix Lights posted 3-0 mark and a 1.64 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 33 innings, permitted 21 hits and fanned 41 batters. |
