Bishop Wins ACL's Best Bat Trophy Saturday, October 1st, 2016 Even though he is a newcomer to Double A, Billy Bishop put up some good numbers in September and earned the ACL Batter of the Month award. He was one of Riverside's offensive leaders with a .407 average in 24 games. He also racked up 7 home runs, 20 RBIs, and 18 runs scored. This year Bishop is hitting .338 with 8 home runs and 25 RBIs in 39 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .404 with 14 walks and 27 runs scored. |
