Blair Earns ACL Player of the Week Monday, July 25th, 2016 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Alexander Cartwright League, but last week Dan Blair of the Newark Jail Birds reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Blair rocked opposing pitching for a .381 average (8-21), 3 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. To date this season Blair is hitting .308 with 13 home runs. |
