Ford Frick League Announces #1 Starter Thursday, October 1st, 2015 Nelson Hill took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Ford Frick League Pitcher of the Month award for September. The 23-year-old Ninjas starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 4-0 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 44 batters in 41.1 innings and compiled a 1.74 ERA. Hill has a 7-2 season record so far. In 12 starts, he has fanned 88 batters in 80 innings with a 2.59 ERA. |
