Whitecaps Elliott and Marxists Ishida Suspended for Fight Monday, September 14th, 2015 Grand Haven's Scott Elliott and Prussian's Mokichi Ishida have been handed 8-game suspensions for their parts in yesterday's upheaval at North Shore Park. The teams were notified today that the suspensions would go into effect immediately. According to the league commissioner Elliott and Ishida provoked and incited the brawl and bore the blame for what transpired. This season Elliott is batting .309 with 6 home runs. His stats sheet for the year shows Ishida has managed to hold opponents to a .293 average in 9 relief appearances, while putting up 0-1 record with 12 strikeouts and 7 walks in 14.2 innings. He has a 7.36 ERA with no saves. |
