Don Bowman out of Lineup 13-14 Months Sunday, August 9th, 2015 The Mustang received bad news this morning. Don Bowman will miss 13-14 months due to a torn rotator cuff. He sustained the injury in the Carson City-Rock River game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Bowman sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." Bowman has made 22 starts so far this year and put up a 7-7 won-lost record with a 4.08 ERA. In 136.2 innings he has allowed 130 hits, walked 62 and struck out 119. |
