Week's Best Player: Carson City's Sorensen Monday, July 20th, 2015 So far in his young career, Nathan Sorensen has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Carson City Mustang third baseman hit at a torrid .533 clip as he collected 8 hits in 15 at-bats, 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This year Sorensen is hitting .290 with 25 home runs. |
