Red Bulls Bourgeois Suffers Injury Saturday, July 11th, 2015 Red Bulls reliever Roméo Bourgeois will be spending 5 months on the shelf according to his manager. He was hurt in a recent game against Asheville throwing a pitch and suffered ulnar nerve irritation. The Riverside GM told BNN no decision had been made on his replacement. He said an announcement was forthcoming, probably tomorrow. For the season Bourgeois has 3 saves, tossed 50.2 innings, fanned 57 batters and produced an ERA of 3.55. He has also been credited with 3 wins and no losses. |
