Gamblers Fear Worst, Guthrie's Career Over Thursday, June 25th, 2015 The baseball career of Blackpool's Mark Guthrie abruptly ended today in the game against the Prussian Marxists at The Bird Stadium. The 23-year-old right fielder sustained a severe injury making a defensive play, suffering a torn labrum and will not play again.
