Ashton Latham Captures ACL Award Monday, May 25th, 2015 It was some kind of week for Ashton Latham of the Grand Haven Whitecaps. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .429 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Alexander Cartwright League. Last week Latham went 12-28, chalked up 3 home runs and 8 RBIs and scored 10 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. Latham is hitting .323 this season with 9 home runs, 30 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has 54 hits in 167 at-bats. |
