Kimball Cracks 5 Hits Wednesday, September 17th, 2014 5 hits in 7 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today Roger Kimball of the Cincinnati Snaps had a sensational 5-7 game against Madison at The Studio. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark in his team's 6-5 shellacking of the Beehive. In the postgame press conference he joked, "Heck, that's a week's worth of hitting for me and I did it all in one day. I guess I can take the rest of the week off... Right, skipper?" Roger Kimball walked in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th, singled in the 11th, singled in the 13th, doubled in the 15th and singled in the 17th. For the year Kimball has hit at a .333 clip with 4 RBIs, 1 home run and 8 runs scored. |
