López Wins FFL Honor Monday, August 25th, 2014 So far in his young career, Francisco López has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Carson City Mustang third baseman hit at a torrid .481 clip as he collected 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 9 runs scored. For the season López has produced 135 hits in 423 at-bats for a .319 average with 12 home runs and gotten on base at a .399 clip. |
