FFL's #1 Player Named Monday, August 11th, 2014 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Ford Frick League, but last week Gerardo Hernández of the Spokane Bulldogs reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Hernández rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (11-22), 3 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. In 14 games Hernández is hitting .469 this season with 23 hits, 4 home runs, 13 RBIs, 6 walks, .536 OBP and has scored 11 runs. |
