League Suspends Grant and Green for Brawl Thursday, July 24th, 2014 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Long Island-Rock River contest at Long Island Stadium. The Ducks Rick Grant and the Rats Andy Green will have to sit out 3 games for their part in the brawl. For the year Grant is batting .233 with no home runs, 11 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This year Green has posted a 4-9 mark in 21 starts and has a 3.84 ERA. |
