ACL Premier Player Picked Monday, July 1st, 2013 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Alexander Cartwright League, but last week Ramón Rocha of the Riverside Red Bulls reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Rocha rocked opposing pitching for a .536 average (15-28), 1 home run and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Rocha has hit at a .274 clip with 31 RBIs, 9 home runs and 71 runs scored. |
