Philadelphia's Murillo Suspended for 6 Games
Thursday, September 27th, 2018
The baseball commissioner has suspended Freedom left fielder Fernando Murillo 6 games for arguing too vehemently on a called third strike in the Bronx game at Bronx Ballpark. Apparently he said the magic words and was ejected by the home plate umpire. He went into the dugout, then returned to the field, resumed his argument with the umpire and had to be restrained by his first base coach.
Murillo said he shouldn't have gone back on the field.
"I was pretty mad. I was all over the place."
Currently Murillo is batting .309 with 14 home runs and 69 RBIs.
