Yamasaki Hits in 30 Consecutive Games
Wednesday, September 12th, 2018
The Horseman proved to be mere mortals today as they lost to the Bulls 4-3, but Kiyonobu Yamasaki continued his god-like hitting as he collected 2 hits and ran his hitting streak to 30 games.
When asked about his torrid-hitting left fielder, the Amarillo skipper said, "Yamasaki is playing great and is on fire now. Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins."
Yamasaki was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said, "We lost the game. Nothing else really matters." Kiyonobu Yamasaki grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
Yamasaki is batting at a .321 pace this season, picking up 180 hits in 560 at-bats with 10 home runs, 78 RBIs and 87 runs scored.
