Valdéz Brilliant, Fans 15 Tuesday, August 28th, 2018 Júlio Valdéz of the Acapulco Banditos struck out an amazing 15 batters today at Underdogs Ballpark and whipped the El Paso Diablos 2-1. Valdéz allowed 6 hits and gave up no walks in a sensational mound performance. "I really felt like I had complete command of all my pitches during the game," said a smiling Valdéz when asked about his stellar outing. "These types of games don't happen all the time, so I'm going to savor this one for a while." Valdéz has a 7-9 season record so far. In 22 starts, he has fanned 131 batters in 120.1 innings with a 6.58 ERA. |
