League Gives Bloom and Martínez 5-Game Suspensions
Thursday, August 9th, 2018
Bad blood could be brewing between the Titans and the Mustangs. In yesterday's contest at The War Dome, Chicago's Milo Bloom and Billings's Pedro Martínez caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Bloom and Martínez were ejected by the umpires.

Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 5 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses.

League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation.

Bloom is hitting .318 for the season with 5 home runs, 30 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 70 hits in 220 at-bats and played in 65 games.

This year Martínez has compiled a 7-5 mark with a 3.87 ERA.
