Rankin Superb Against Acapulco Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 Fort Worth hurler Jason Rankin put on quite a show today as he blitzed the Acapulco Banditos with a 5-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 4 hits with 2 strikeouts and 2 walks to pick up the win. The opposing manager told reporters after the game, "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball." In 22 starts this season Rankin has registered a 9-6 record and a 3.37 ERA. |
