6-Hit Blitz by Kato Wednesday, July 25th, 2018 It was a parade of hits for Yasushi Kato of the Mdewanketon Sabercats, one right after another. He ravaged the Indian Wells Aeropostales for 6 hits in his 7 at-bats. But the Aeropostales rose to the occasion and rained on his parade with a 15-14 win. "Kato was really good ... we were just a little better," said the Aeropostales manager in the postgame interview. "It's all right with me if he gets 6 hits every game against us, if we win." Yasushi Kato singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Bob Cusack in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, walked in the 8th, singled in the 11th and hit a solo-shot off Joe Dinneen in the 13th. For the season Kato is hitting .271, batted in 44 runs with 5 home runs and 66 runs scored. |
