Horseman Lose Ambrose for 5-6 Months Thursday, July 5th, 2018 The Horseman received bad news this morning. Vaughan Ambrose will miss 5-6 months due to a fractured elbow. He sustained the injury in the Amarillo-Indian Wells game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Ambrose sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." To this point in the season he has had no saves. Ambrose has made 12 relief appearances, tossed 24 innings and struck out 19 with a record of no wins and no losses. |
