League Punishes Pair for Fighting Monday, July 2nd, 2018 The league decided to come down hard on Elliott Hawkins of the Horseman and Orlando Estrada of the Bulls for their roles in a brawl during a game between Amarillo and Durham at Horseman Field. Both combatants will receive 8-game suspensions because of their confrontation. So far this season Hawkins is hitting .370 with no home runs, 3 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has 10 hits in 27 at-bats and a .393 OBP. Estrada has earned 1 save and a 2-3 mark this season with a 5.29 earned run average in 28 relief appearances. He has worked 34 innings, yielded 39 hits, struck out 36 batters and walked 30. |
