KSL Star of the Week Honored Monday, July 2nd, 2018 So far in his young career, Maresuke Kato has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Kade Stenson League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Leningrad Communists right fielder hit at a torrid .407 clip as he collected 11 hits in 27 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this season Kato has gotten 92 hits in 318 at-bats for a .289 batting average with 7 home runs. His stats include 52 RBIs and 49 runs scored. He has played in 79 games. |
