Verity's Strong Week Earns BCL Trophy Monday, May 21st, 2018 Ron Verity of Philadelphia was a smashing success this week, winning the Player of the Week Award in the Blake Camden League. He hit everything the pitchers threw at him, hammering them for a .500 batting average, going 14 for 28 with 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scoring 6 times. So far this season Verity is hitting .322 with 6 home runs, 28 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 58 hits in 180 at-bats and a .389 OBP. |
