25-Game Hitting Streak for Wood Saturday, May 19th, 2018 "Things went well for me today. I got 2 hits and the streak is up to 25 games. But we didn't win the game. As you all know, baseball is not about personal accomplishments, its about winning." Those words were spoken by Alden Wood of the Durham Bulls to BNN after his club dropped a 10-7 decision to Leningrad. Alden Wood walked in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. Thus far this year Wood is batting .368 with 3 home runs, 24 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |
