O'Farrell BCL Choice for Best Pitcher Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Eric O'Farrell, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Springfield Reformers reliever, 25, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .250 average and walked away with the Blake Camden League Pitcher of the Month award for April. O'Farrell posted a 5-0 mark and a 1.84 ERA in 14 relief appearances. In 14.2 innings, he had no saves, 11 strikeouts, and 12 walks. |
