Detroit's Víctor Heredia Injured Monday, April 16th, 2018 Earlier today, Detroit closer Víctor Heredia had to leave the game against Minneapolis because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has shoulder inflammation and will miss 7 months of play. Heredia was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. Season-to-date Heredia has 1 save in 5 relief appearances with a 1-0 mark and 3.00 ERA. |
