League Suspends Philadelphia 3B Mitchell Tuesday, April 10th, 2018 The league office has notified the Philadelphia Freedom that Joseph Mitchell will receive a 6-game suspension for his flagrant conduct in yesterday's game with Detroit at The Bell. Mitchell aggressively and physically protested a third-strike call and had to be restrained by several teammates after being ejected. This year Mitchell is batting .294 with 10 hits and no home runs. He has scored 6 times and has batted in 5 runs. |
