O'Higgins Extends Hit Streak to 30 Games
Wednesday, September 27th, 2017
Win, lose or draw -- Reese O'Higgins just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He has now stretched his hitting streak to 30 games. The Toledo Raptors second baseman picked up 2 hits in 4 at-bats today, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated 7-3 by the Fort Worth Cats at LaGrave Field. Reese O'Higgins struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, walked in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
This year O'Higgins has batted at a .318 pace with 196 hits, 2 home runs, 63 RBIs and scored 70 times.
