BCL Player of the Week Named Monday, August 28th, 2017 So far in his young career, Shunso Meshizuka has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Blake Camden League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Joplin Fireballs center fielder hit at a torrid .542 clip as he collected 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 9 runs scored. Currently Meshizuka has 11 home runs and a .312 batting average. |
