Cain Week's #1 Player Monday, August 14th, 2017 At the age of 26, Floyd Cain might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Chicago second baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .545 batting average. For his efforts Cain collected the Blake Camden League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 1 home run and 2 RBIs last week in 6 games. This year Cain is hitting .288 with 1 home run. |
