League Punishes Pair for Fighting Friday, August 4th, 2017 It was quite a row yesterday at The Coal Mine. The Coal Miners Luis Santos and the Bumblebees Edgardo Félix backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only Santos and Félix were ejected. As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 2-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions. So far on the season Santos is hitting .230 with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 26 hits and played in 34 games. In 20 starts this season Félix has registered a 6-9 record and a 4.81 ERA. |
