Amarillo Catcher Picked KSL Player of the Week Monday, July 31st, 2017 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Alfredo Villalobos, the Amarillo Horseman 23-year-old catcher, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Kade Stenson League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 7 hits in 16 at-bats, compiling a .438 average with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs. Thus far this year Villalobos is batting .278 with 19 home runs, 64 RBIs and 59 runs scored. |
