BCL's Best Batter Announced Saturday, July 1st, 2017 When John Kelly stepped up to the plate in June, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Blake Camden League Batter of the Month award. The young Springfield third baseman posted a .360 batting average with 4 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 22 runs. Kelly also worked pitchers for 27 walks to post a .492 on-base percentage. This season Kelly has 19 home runs and a .280 batting average. |
