Clark Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Monday, June 12th, 2017 Greg Clark had an answer for everything Detroit threw him today at Cruz Bay Park. In 5 at-bats he made good contact and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The Toledo catcher went 5 for 6 in the game to get his name in the record book. However, his great performance was not enough to produce a victory. His club, the Raptors, took it on the chin 4-3 against the Death Stars. "I know you can't win 'em all," he said, "but it sure would have been nice to win this one. To get 5 hits and lose is just not the way it should be." Greg Clark flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 8th, doubled in the 10th and singled in the 12th. Clark is batting .343 this year with no home runs, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has 12 hits in 35 at-bats. |
