Nicolas Rodrigues Nabs Prestigious Cy Young Award Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 The Bristol City Smugglers have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Nicolas Rodrigues, this year's Kade Stenson League Cy Young Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Rodrigues compiled a 16-5 record in 28 starts, tallied 173 strikeouts in 190.2 innings and recorded a 2.93 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .206 batting average against him. |
