Treatment Fails, Joaquín García's Career Over
Sunday, September 11th, 2016
It looks like the end of Joaquín García's career. He got the sad news today from his doctors that this last setback was more damaging than first reported. The 24-year-old Minneapolis Freeze right fielder was making some progress in his recovery from a ruptured finger tendon, but then he reinjured it during a rehab workout. García was told by his specialist that there was nothing more that could be done to save his career.
García is currently hitting at a .235 pace with 2 home runs and 16 RBIs.
