Bumblebees Hurler Named August's Top Starter Thursday, September 1st, 2016 Over the past month Will McDonald has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Blake Camden League. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Pasadena Bumblebees posted 4-1 mark and a 3.12 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 43.1 innings, permitted 36 hits and fanned 33 batters. This year McDonald has compiled a 9-11 mark with a 5.20 ERA. |
