League KO's Freeze-Coal Miners Players with 4-Game Suspensions Saturday, August 6th, 2016 There was a heated confrontation yesterday at The Ice Box between the Freeze and Coal Miners that resulted in ejections and suspensions. Dan Best of Minneapolis and Alain Laurent of Antioch were issued 4-game suspensions by the league office for initiating the on-field disturbance. This season Best has hit at a .243 clip with 33 RBIs, 6 home runs and 43 runs scored. So far in 23 appearances this season, Laurent has recorded 3 wins and sustained 12 losses. He has pitched 101 innings, yielded 129 hits, fanned 94 and has a 6.86 ERA. |
