Gray on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, September 28th, 2015 In the twilight of his career, 36-year-old Roderick Gray of Mdewanketon recaptured some of the old magic last week and came away with the Kade Stenson League Player of the Week Award. "I've been playing since I was a kid," Gray told reporters, "but you're never too old to feel the thrill of success." Gray outpaced the rest of the league's hitters last week, reeling off 12 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 home runs, and 17 RBIs to stake his claim to the award. Gray is hitting at a .272 mark this season. His stats show 13 home runs, 45 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has played 56 games for the Sabercats. |
