Freedom Valdés Suffers Setback Friday, July 31st, 2015 Juan Valdés's return to the Philadelphia Freedom has been delayed. The 23-year-old second baseman has been in treatment for a sore knee and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. Upon examination by team doctors they reported that there had been further damage and Valdés would not be back as originally diagnosed. He would now be out at least 4 days. This season Valdés is batting .297 with 65 hits, 23 home runs, 53 RBIs, .395 OBP and has scored 61 runs. |
