Juan García to Miss 8 Months Wednesday, July 29th, 2015 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Leningrad Communists, Cacti center fielder Juan García was injured making a defensive play and is expected to miss 8 months with a broken kneecap. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Albuquerque skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. This year García has hit at a .408 clip with 16 RBIs, 4 home runs and 23 runs scored. |
