El Paso MR Owens Will Miss 4-5 Months Sunday, May 24th, 2015 The Diablos Mike Owens was injured throwing a pitch during today's game against the Bristol City Smugglers. The team doctor expects the reliever to miss 4-5 months with bone chips in his elbow. No roster changes were announced by team officials. So far this season Owens has worked 34.1 innings in 25 relief appearances with 0 saves. He has dished out 23 strikeouts and walked 12 with a 1-0 mark and a 5.24 ERA. |
