BCL Premier Pitcher is Detroit's Dotson Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Todd Dotson, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Detroit Death Stars reliever, 25, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .205 average and walked away with the Blake Camden League Pitcher of the Month award for June. Dotson posted a 3-0 mark and a 2.31 ERA in 5 relief appearances. In 35 innings, he had no saves, 24 strikeouts, and 6 walks. Dotson has taken the hill for 5 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 4-1 record with a 2.63 ERA.
