Carver Guns Down Freedom Friday, June 27th, 2014 Everything clicked on the hill today for Chet Carver of the Minneapolis Freeze as he hurled his club to a 4-0 shutout win over the Philadelphia Freedom, limiting them to 1 hit while recording 10 strikeouts and yielding 4 walks. He overpowered some batters with his fastball and buckled knees with his sharp breaking pitches. "We had our shot at him a couple of different times," the Freedom manager said, "but we weren't able to get to him." |
