Bronx Shuts out Titans, Young Winner Sunday, June 15th, 2014 The Bronx manager told reporters after the game, "When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy. The more pitches he throws, the better his command is." He was talking about Brian Young, who had just hurled a fine 3-hit shutout over the Chicago Titans. He had 4 strikeouts and 3 walks in the Bronx 6-0 victory. "An outstanding job," the Chicago manager said. "We couldn't get anything going. Every time we got a hit, he got out of the jam. He pitched a terrific game." |
