5-6 Day for Hall
Tuesday, April 8th, 2014
On top of the Chicago hit parade today was Daniel Hall. He went to the plate 6 times and tagged 5 hits, but it was Philadelphia that marched off with the 14-12 win. He certainly had their number at the plate in this record-making 5-6 performance, however the Freedom marked it up in the victory column.
The sweet swinging first baseman told reporters, "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere. When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats."
The skipper of the Titans griped to the press, "As a team, we just didn't do it with the bats and the pitching today. That's why we lost."
Daniel Hall hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Fernando Maldonado in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
