He told his pitching philosophy to sportswriters in the postgame interview after his 7-0 victory over El Paso. He blanked them on a 4-hitter, allowed 1 walk and had 3 strikeouts. "I really felt comfortable the whole game," Delgado said. His manager echoed his comments, saying, "He hit his spots time and time again." To date this year, Delgado shows a 11-10 record, 28 starts, 175.2 innings, 127 strikeouts and a 3.89 ERA. |
